Charity Navigator 4-star rating Highest ranking bestowed to a nonprofit organization for exceeding industry standards and outperforming other charities in America, and acknowledging its efficient financial performance, and commitment to transparency and accountability. Chapman Partnership’s ninth consecutive 4-star rating demonstrates ongoing fiscal excellence, and strong commitment to good governance and best practices. Only 3 percent of charities rated by Charity Navigator receive nine consecutive 4-star evaluations, indicating that Chapman Partnership outperforms most charities in America.

In its seventh year, Path Awards recognize organizations for their contributions and commitment to promoting and protecting the health of the South Florida community.
Outstanding Board Leader
2020
This award was bestowed on Allan J. Pekor, a member of the Chapman Partnership Board’s Executive Committee. This honor recognizes Pekor’s 40-plus years of involvement in volunteerism, as a board member recruited by founder Alva Chapman. Pekor has been instrumental in helping shape the organization’s value statements of passion, compassion, teamwork, innovation, and results driven work.

This award recognizes a non-profit organization that has accomplished significant results on behalf of the Homestead/Florida City community; embodies a spirit of volunteerism, altruism and respect; and demonstrates a collaborative spirit through creative partnerships with other nonprofits, various businesses and civic organizations.
Most Valuable Nonprofit “ALL STAR”
2012-2013
Acknowledges a nonprofit organization whose strategic vision, passion, perseverance and collaboration style have led to extraordinary organizational and community results. A Leadership “ALL STAR” demonstrates extraordinary board and staff leadership; serves as a strong role model for honesty, ethics and integrity; displays the ability to make challenging decisions for long-term benefit of the community; and demonstrates vision to drive the community and organization forward.

We have earned a Platinum Seal for 2022 by adding information to our Nonprofit Profile on GuideStar. Now our community members as well as 10+ million GuideStar users can find in-depth financial information about our organization.
When we earn a Seal of Transparency, we provide context for the IRS information already in our organization’s GuideStar Nonprofit Profile, give potential donors and funders better insight into our work, and stand out from the other nonprofits in our database. The amount of information we provide determines which of the four GuideStar Seals we earn.
