MIAMI, Fla. – December 18, 2014 Chapman Partnership was awarded its fourth consecutive Charity Navigator 4-star rating, the highest ranking bestowed to a nonprofit organization for exceeding industry standards.
As the recipient of a four-star rating out of four, Chapman Partnership is acknowledged for sound fiscal management, transparency and accountability. Only 7% of charities evaluated by the rating service receive at least four consecutive 4-star designations.
Charity Navigator’s evaluation of a charity’s financial health – which examines daily management of finances and the ability to sustain programs over time – help millions of donors make better giving decisions.
“We are proud to receive this exceptional designation from Charity Navigator for the fourth year in a row, strong affirmation to the public and our stakeholders that Chapman Partnership is worthy of their trust to fulfill our mission of empowering the homeless,” said Carlos Fernandez–Guzman, Chairman of the Board of Trustees, Chapman Partnership.
Chapman Partnership spends 83 % of its income on programs for the homeless men, women and children. Administrative and fundraising expenses account for only 17 percent of its income.
“Our commitment is to assist homeless individuals and families in our community and get them back on their feet—that’s where we invest our dollars,” added Fernandez–Guzman.
