Chapman Partnership manages two Homeless Assistance Centers located in Miami and Homestead. Our residents work together with case managers to create a comprehensive personalized plan, guiding them throughout their journey with us. With fully equipped medical and dental clinics, family dorms, cafeterias, classrooms, Wi-Fi, day-care, basketball courts, and even a dog kennel – we help provide all the resources needed for motivated residents to become self-sufficient.

DonateStock & Wag!

DonateStock and Wag! are celebrating Wag’s public listing (Nasdaq: PET) by distributing up to $1.5 million in grants to hundreds of pet-related nonprofits including shelters, rescue and adoption organizations. Chapman Partnership was nominated for a chance to receive a grant for up to $3,000!

Chapman Partnership opened its Dog Kennel in the Homestead Center after a Board Member met a homeless couple walking in Miami Beach. He informed them about the homeless assistance center and encouraged them to seek help. They told him that they could not accept his offer, because they refused to leave a member of their family behind – their furry four-legged friend. Following that encounter, the Board Member made a $1M donation to Chapman Partnership (formerly Community Partnership for Homeless) in January 2000, stipulating that $30,000 of the funds be used to build and operate a dog kennel.

Chapman Partnership’s Dog Kennel has taken in hundreds of dogs of all breeds and sizes since it opened in 2003. It holds up to 6 dogs that our clients maintain. A Volunteer Veterinarian provides shots and other services for our client’s dogs on a need by need basis. Chapman Partnership accepts donations of dog food, toys, and all furry friend needs.

Chapman Partnership is the private sector partner of the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust, operating two Homeless Assistance Centers in downtown Miami and Homestead. Chapman Partnership offers a comprehensive approach through on-site services and through its valued partnership with the Miami-Dade County Homeless Trust, to help residents attain self-sufficiency and housing stability.
