CHAPMAN PARTNERSHIP RECEIVES COVETED 4-STAR RATING FROM CHARITY NAVIGATOR FOR OUTPERFORMING OTHER CHARITIES

October 31, 2013

MIAMI, FL – Tuesday, October 15th, 2013 –  Chapman Partnership was awarded its third consecutive Charity Navigator 4-star rating, the highest ranking bestowed to a nonprofit organization for exceeding industry standards and outperforming other charities in America.

As the recipient of a four-star rating out of four, Chapman Partnership is acknowledged for sound fiscal management, transparency and accountability. Only 11 percent of charities evaluated by the rating service receiveat least two consecutive 4-star designations.

“We are proud to receive this exceptional designation from Charity Navigator for the third year in a row, demonstrating again to the public that Chapman Partnership is worthy of their trust,” said H. Daniel Vincent, president and CEO of Chapman Partnership.

“Our commitment is to assist homeless individuals and families in our community and get them back on their feet—that’s where we invest our dollars,” Vincent said.

Chapman Partnership spends 84 percent of its income on programs for the homeless men, women and children. Administrative and fundraising expenses account for only 16 percent of its income.

Charity Navigator’s evaluation of a charity’s financial health – which examines daily management of finances and the ability to sustain programs over time – help millions of donors make better giving decisions. By logging onto www.charitynavigator.org, donors can determine which charities have “best practices” that minimize the chance of unethical activities and whether they freely share basic information about their organization to stakeholders, along with the traditional Charity Navigator matrices.
