Chapman Partnership’s Family Programming Services are designed to care for families experiencing homelessness by providing essential educational, recreational, and developmental resources for children and their caregivers.

Family Resource Center (FRC)

The Family Resource Center provides a safe and supportive space for children in kindergarten through 12th grade. Our programming is rooted in three core pillars: academics, recreation, and mindfulness, all grounded in trauma-informed care. We focus on each child’s growth while offering the consistency and encouragement they need to thrive.

Camp Chapman: Spring & Summer Programs

  • Educational enrichment with STEAM-based learning opportunities
  • Recreational activities that promote teamwork, creativity, and personal growth
  • Eye-opening, immersive field trips during Spring Break and Summer Break, exposing children to new experiences and learning opportunities
  • A safe and structured environment for children to thrive during school breaks

School Enrollment & Academic Enrichment

  • Ensuring all school-aged children are enrolled in school shortly after arriving at our center
  • Assistance with school transportation, uniforms, and backpacks with essential supplies
  • Academic enrichment, including tutoring and mentorship programs

Afterschool & STEAM-Focused Activities

  • Daily afterschool programs that integrate Science, Technology, Engineering, Arts, and Math (STEAM) to enhance learning and spark creativity
  • Character-building and self-esteem development programs that help students excel academically and socially

Early Head Start & Head Start Program

In partnership with Miami-Dade County Public Schools, Chapman Partnership offers Early Head Start and Head Start programs to support children from birth to age five. These programs focus on physical, social, and cognitive development to prepare children for success in school and beyond.
