CHAPMAN PARTNERSHIP RECOGNIZES TEN WOMEN PHILANTHROPISTS AT THE 4TH ANNUAL WOMENADE TAKE A WALK IN HER SHOES FASHION SHOW AND LUNCHEON

MIAMI, FL – Tuesday, May 28th, 2013 – Chapman Partnership Womenade, along with Madeleine Kirsh of C. Madeleine’s, Danny Santiago and Raquel Watters of Rik Rak Salon hosted the 4th Annual “Take a Walk in Her Shoes” Fashion Show and Luncheon at the InterContinental Miami on Friday, May 17th.

“Womenade is made up of women volunteers who are committed to supporting the mission of Chapman Partnership. As we honor ten outstanding female philanthropic leaders,we also want to reflect on the faces in our community who are less fortunate than we.The face of homelessness is one we must not ignore.It is the face of hundreds of children and families who need our support in order to become self-sufficient and live better lives,” said Trish Bell, Chairman, Chapman Partnership.

The 2013 Honorees recognized for outstanding philanthropic work in Miami and their superb community accomplishments are: Terry Buoniconti, Ana Codina Barlick, Lizette Martino Diaz Jennifer Naszradi, Phillis Oeters, Rita Ramirez, Frances Aldrich Sevilla-Sacasa, Katy Sorenson, Tara Solomon, and Boo Zamek.

The Take a Walk in Her Shoes event was chaired by Irene Korge, Bronwyn Miller and Migna Sanchez-Llorens. The theme of the fashion show, “Deco Riviera,” reflected the late 1950s and early 1960s Miami Beach Chic, where the idea of “dressing up” was a daily practice. Shannon Hori, CBS 4 News Anchor, served as the emcee. The sponsors included Honorary Chairs Trish and Dan Bell, Terry Buoniconti, and wine sponsors “O Wines” and Pavan Liqueurs.

This year’s event featured a “Best Dressed Diva Contest” presented by C. Madeleine’s for the best vintage attire, which was won by Ivette Martino.C. Madeleine’s will also donate a percentage of sales to Chapman Partnership for anyone who shops at the store now through June 30th.
