Meet Alberto Eiras, Director of South Florida Barber Schools, a vocational institution shaping aspiring barbers into skilled professionals. For 15 years, Alberto and his team have been dedicated volunteers at Chapman Partnership, providing haircuts to countless clients at the Homestead Center.
South Florida Barber Schools not only prepares students for the State Board Exam but actively engages in community service. The journey began with the team bringing its students to the Homestead Center, allowing them to practice their skills. Inspired by the confidence instilled in the residents of Chapman Partnership and motivated by a commitment to the community, their services became more and more frequent, providing haircuts to dozens of clients with each visit.
Alberto highlights that every moment spent at the Homestead Center holds significance. The joy of making people feel good and the pride in giving back to the community keeps South Florida Barber Schools coming back. Alberto mentions the profound impact, not just in skill development for the school’s students but in boosting the confidence for a fresh start for so many.
