For the second year in a row, Miami is going all out for this holiday season. Enjoy the lighting of a 24-foot Christmas tree and 12-foot menorah with a free, live performance by the Miami Symphony Orchestra (MISO).
Presented by the Miami DDA, the event will be the perfect way to kick off the holiday season. MISO’s 31-piece orchestra will present their act directly on the historic Flagler Street, and attendees can also enjoy free family-friendly activities like face painting, a bounce house, a balloon artist, snacks, a special visit from Santa Claus, and a Holiday Village, which is open every weekend until December 29th.
During the event, the Miami DDA will be hosting a toy drive for the children at Chapman Partnership. From November 17 to December 8, every Sunday between 2-6pm, attendees are encouraged to bring new, unwrapped toys to a special drop-off spot in front of the Olympia Theater. The drive is a wonderful way to give back and help make the holidays a little brighter for kids in need.
